Perceptual Evolution

About the Photographer/Author AKA*: Me :-)

      I am a boundlessly imperfect individual doing my best to be authentic, present and kind in each and every moment. I love comedy - laughing and making others laugh is a joy of mine. I’ve survived my share of challenges in this life and humor has been my saving grace more times than I can count.
      You may recognize me from my days performing comedy, either improv with Not Burnt Out Just Unscrewed, or doing stand up in Tucson and Phoenix, AZ. Or, possibly from my public speaking with the local court and Foster Care systems. For many years I facilitated clubs for youth in Foster Care through In My Shoes, Inc. Photography is one of my lifelong passions, so when that came together with the opportunity to work with youth in foster care - I was thrilled! Having been in Foster Care myself, seeing kids go through similar struggles is even more heartbreaking. Now, I’m in the process of turning my story into a book. My hope is that by sharing my journey, others can learn from my choices or at the very least, laugh at them.  *If you read that in your mind as a word instead of  the individual letters, you get bonus points**!
